I had forgotten it was published in 1984. That is the one on my bookshelf.

  1. Thanks for calling my attention to the Margaret Atwood article in the NYT. Even though I read it every day I missed it. The Handmaid’s Tale was one of the most frightening books I have ever read and I have never forgotten it. Bev
